BRIEF//

To update a dated sporting Club logo, and give the team a sense of pride to be wearing the logo.

SOLUTION//

The new logo had to satisfy all of the existing expectations of what the original mark stands for, while simultaneously moving the brand forward to acknowledge change, growth, and a brighter tomorrow. 

In collaboration with elders and first nations peoples we were able to achieve the appropriate and respectful design. The clubs spiritual home ground Gumbyah situated on The Darkinjung country. It is a mis-conception that Indigenous peoples were just hunter/gathers. They are warriors, they fight everyday for their voice and respect for their knowledge of country. The iconic warrior stance with a Woomera Spear - reflects a symbol of pride and respect of culture.
